	Hui Cheng \| (510)590-6800 People say that the eyes are the windows into our soul. I believe that similarly, the camera is a window into our world. There really is beauty in everything and everyone, you just have to pay attention and look. Keep your camera close and don't stop taking pictures. While growing up I loved painting watercolor. I think my love for photography stems from my love of art. My first camera was a point&shoot back in the 35mm film days. Nowadays I'm shooting with a digital SLR as it gives the photographer unprecedented amount of control both during the shoot and during post-shoot processing. Getting to know each subject as a unique person and capturing them in their element is key to personalized memories that will be cherished for years to come.

These are the photos you end up printing and framing from the hundreds taken at any given event. They are also the moments you want to remember for years to come. The details also count. From crafted flower arrangements, the wedding cake, and party favors to the carefully-chosen rings and the look you give each other just before “you may now kiss the bride”. These are the elements that personalize your wedding and I go to great lengths to capture them. I have seven years experience in photography, have worked in digital media for the past five years, and am currently a graduate student at UC Berkeley. Go Bears!
